The track out at Kurwongbah was 17.5km of pure bliss except for the bog holes and made for a great days racing. With live bands and plenty of atmosphere i think is it safe to say that everyone had a fantastic time. There where quite a few of the Race crew out at the event with some awesome results. Race Elements/ FTR team came 1st overall, the Mixed 6 person category was won by our Race Elements/FTR mixed team featuring our very own Simon and Bec. We also had many other clients do very well in their teams with many of you getting on the podium. The slightly mental solo riders also had a good day out with Jeff Toohey 5th, Greig 9th and Pat in his first race a very good 24th and the girls smashed it with Anna 3rd and Rach Edwards in 4th despite having to pull out injured. Great effort by all. The 3rd round of the State Downhill Series was held on 22 June 2008, with our very own James Maltman 2nd in the elite category, Lindsay Klein 3rd elite, Tim McCollough 6th elite and Liam Paiaro 1st under 19. Well Done guys you really are stepping it up this year. Price Change Simon and Greig believe that the trainers at Race Elements are the best around. We also believe after quite some time that they need a pay rise. In order for this to happen our session prices will be increased as of 7 July 2008. We will also be introducing a new Trainer system as we believe that our more experienced and skilled trainers should be recognised for their added benefit to your training goals. So we now have Platinum and Gold trainers for you to choose from. Pricing as of 7 July 2008 will be as follows- Peak (5am to 11am and 3pm to 8pm) Platinum Trainer- 1 on 1 $75, 2 on 1 $40each Gold Trainer- 1 on 1 $60, 2 on 1 $32.50each Off peak (11am to 3pm) Platinum Trainer- 1 on 1 $64, 2 on 1 $34each Gold Trainer- 1 on 1 $49, 2 on 1 $26.50each Don't forget if you go onto our 12 month deal you get 10% off all session prices. You just need to sign up to ezypay for 12 months and you get cheaper training. for example if you train with a Gold Trainer and go on ezypay for 12 months you pay $54 per session instead of $60. If you need to break out of the contract before your 12 months is up you pay 50% of what is owing. More details are below. Starting June 26 and finishing the week before the Epic, this could be just what you need to get started. After seeing Greig get hit by a car while commuting to work we thought this would be a great step for us to help make the roads safer.
